You do not have to be a UCI student to join our club. We are eventually looking to establish as a non-profit organization and therefore encourage anyone with a passion to help others to join. 

There is no fee to be a part of our organization. We do offer a club member t-shirt that is available for $5 but but it is not required that you purchase it. Profits from the shirt sales go towards donations to families affected by a rare disease

You do not have to come every time! If you are unable to make it to a particular meeting you are welcome to join us again whenever you are available

You do not have to personally be affected or know someone affected by a rare disease. We know that rare diseases are infact, rare, so we do our best to get involved with those amongst the rare disease community.
